"My universe of Social Media !-1 ":

"My universe of Social Media !-1 ":

For me social medium is an open Platform for polishing one’s innovative creative ability &
I call the social media as a Gymnasium for Lateral thinking..

I am therefore pleased to share here few Gems of my innovative & interesting thinking from my SM postings and I am sure they too would make you think & introspect.....

"God bless the commoners !":
It's a fact that not every one can be famous with name, fame and glory and only minuscule get such previlege.

But ordinary mortals need not be sad, need not feel inferior or repent for not achieving that status. This is because, it is absolutely due to the acceptance, praise and putting these Idols, who happen to be in minority, on higher platform by the majority million minions, that they occupy such popular position.

While we, the minions, can exist without these achievers, they simply don't have place without us! More-over simpletons' lives are more free and open compared to their closed in cage plight, with burden of infinite anxiety of losing the high ground, torturing them all the while !

God bless the commoners; pity the Heroes!!

"Mystery of Life and Death":
It's solace, that no advance information is given to any one and dark tentacles of death take a living life, dear to many, away to nowhere, in oblivion, never ever to return.

Wonder, really, what is the unknown mistery of MR. Death and it's timing. Is it, that the exact numbers of heart bits and the number of breaths fixed and unchangeable, at the time of one's birth? Who, how does some one unknown , determines and fixes it.

Even the life-spans of every one, even those of the siblings born to the same parents are different. No answers to that. Who will find them, or will any one ever would be able to find them??

That's then is the mystery of Life and Death.

"That's Life":
Life is a continuous, ongoing experience that goes on and on and only some day suddenly, you get quenched in the out of the world experience that makes your day.

It can be in any form- reading, writing, film, drama, event, awareness about noble virtues, flow of emotions and so on.

All you need, is a vision to look for, a sensitive mind to feel for. Once you know you have these, then the Life is a Fun, a Run to identify such fulfilling experience.

"The Times, gone by":
If you are curious and a liking to understand many an unknown pockets of our radical transformation in the fields, like education, literature, social service, trends/traditions, from our recent history of the last around 150 years, please do read a classic book, 'Gatkal' by Dr. Anant Deshmukh.

These are about 50 researched write ups, that open up our introspective, curious minds with spicy, critical narrations of the life and times of well-known personalities, who brought about such turn- arounds in our recent history.

I finished this book of over 250 pages and now I am richer to know, what I didn't know so far, and with that my thirst, my curiosity about times gone by, has increased multy-fold. This is just to share my experience, that made my day!

Please, Do go and get to read the copy of 'Gatkal'-the times gone by!!

"Elections-Reforms !":
To get the correct picture of the opinion of the people in Elections, Voting must be made compulsory and one's Vote should have a value according to his age group.

If the life expectancy is assumed to be 70 years then value of Vote for age group-61 to 70 + onwards to be 1, for age group 51 to 60 it should be 1.1, for 41 to 50 it should be 1.2, for 31 to 40 it should be 1.3, finally for the youngest group upto 30 it should be 1.4;

This is because the future of younger group is more at stake than the older one.

"Competing Intensities":
'Saw the film, 'Apala Manus', understandably a remake of Drama 'Katkon Trikon' and it triggered in my mind an out of box idea of comparing a series of Marathi Artists with competing intensities, in similar roles:
1. Dr Mohan Agashe and Shri Nana Patekar
2 Vikram Gokhale and Late Vinay Apte
3 Atul Kulkarni and Sachin Khedekar
4 Prashant Damle and Mohan Joshi
5 Swapnil Joshi and Aniket Vishwasrao
6 Dilip Prabhawalkar and Pushkar Shrotri
7 Abhijit Khandkekar and Lalit Prabhakar
8 Prasad Oak and Vaibhav Mangle
9 Pradip Velankar and Rajan Bhise
10 Makarand Anaspure and Late Laxmikant Berde
And that leaves one and only one, Unique, Ashok Saraf and who?? Amitabh Bacchan ???.............

From Darkness to Light":
'Learning is an exploration from darkness to Light, from the unknown to known, from unawreness to awareness; thus expanding your 'World', broadening your horizons.

Our five sense organs that enable us to see, to smell, to hear-listen, to feel and to think, are the tools for this learning process and also to our critical appreciation ability.

What one does, when he sees a scene, a picture, a film or a drama, or reads literature,or interacts with others, etc. he likes it or hates, or avoids it and differentiates between what's good and what's not.

Thus critical appraisal is an advance application of the unique Learning Process.'

"A Relook, at Festivals"
1. While appreciating our noble traditions of the Festivals, after Festivals, rejoicing merrily, with ultra-high decibel levels of noise, time has now come to seriously review, how much of it is really correct and essential, in the changed World of 21st century.
2. Further, while doing so, what is the proportion of waste of valuable productive time thus, V/S the quantum of productive time really brought to use in a year.
3. Without such course correction, our dream of becoming a Super Power in the World would be very difficult, if not impossible. And the terrifying trouble is,if it would be so, despite having the enviable advantage of the highest percentage of youths on our side.

"Alas, those were the Days!:
More often than not, I happen to see Ghisi Piti' films and some forgettable stage-drama, hence I am scared to go to the theaters for such useless waste of my precious time, energy and money.

May be, my growing age is responsible or my taste, primarily, nourished on the Golden Era of Films/ Dramas, is responsible for such total reluctance to tolerate just mauj masti, foolish comedy or dances, revenge, fights etc. which the generation- next probably likes and craves for.

The real creativity, imaginations, emotions and tender relationships seem to have no place in the fast moving 21st century Life-styles. Like in the Democracy, people get the type of Government, they truly deserve; in the entertainment World too, the Society gets what it's character really is. Now people like me are left with no choice but to be eternally Nostalgic- saying 'Alas those were the days of sense and substance.
