"Critical Examination Matrix":
I am pleased to share here above methodic idea in the professional operations, from my Treasure Book of Management notes pencilled by me after reading a number of books authored by renowned Management Gurus over a decade ago. I am sure you would find it very interesting and effective to understand the reality.
"Critical Examination Matrix": Whatever is being done, needs to be analysed with respect to a variety of variables connected with it.
We must understand the expected outcome along with the real outcome properly; so for that this method of Critical Examination Matrix is utilised.
A set of questions need to be answered as given below:
1 The Assignment:
What is being done?
Why is it done?
What else could be done?
What else should be done?
2 The method:
How is it done?
Why that way?
How else could it be done?
How else should it be done?
3 Tme Frame:
When is it being done?
Why then?
When else could it be done?
When else should it be done?
4 The Place:
Where is it done?
Why there?
Where else could it be done?
Where else should it be done?
5 The Person/s
Who are doing it?
Why them?
Who else could do it better?
Who else should do it still better?
These kind of questions are needed to be asked in this particular method. The answers would give a caledioscopic perspective of the operation/s at hand. Continous improvement and development in the processes is possible due to this innovative method to achieve optimum results at minimum costs, thus enhancing productivity and profitablity.
Finally, a thought on the hind sight:
'Reflecting and introspecting on this simple structured method, even for the present crisIs situation, by taking 360 degree view of what has already happened so far, and what should be the right way for future action to combat the threatening crisis.'
